Ha. As a struggling poet, I found this very amusing. Although I enjoy e.e. cummings, I nonetheless tend toward rhythmic and metrically orthodox verse myself, complete with (most of the time) rhyme. I was constantly chided for this in college writing courses, until one professor who understood me encouraged me as a rebel.
